Fairtrade Week

As part of our Green Flag Global Citizenship programme we are learning about Fairtrade Ireland. Because it is only fair that the people who produce what we eat should get paid enough to live on and a chance to improve their lives. To raise awareness of this we are collecting Fair Trade labels from our shopping. We baked banana bread, marble cake and chocolate brownies using Fair Trade products. We also completed Fair Trade lessons, quizzes and designed posters. To end our week we had a Fair Trade icecream party. We hope our contribution helps to make the world a fairer place.
