Music plays an integral part of life in Kilcoe National School. We believe that every pupil should be given the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and be provided with regular performances and to be exposed to a wide variety of musical genres

Music Classes: All children from 1st class up to 6th class learn tin-whistle as part of the school curriculum. Any children who wish to learn a second instrument can partake of tuition as part of our after-school music programme. Lessons are provided by qualified music teachers on guitar, fiddle, flute, button accordion, piano accordion, concertina, banjo and mandolin.
