“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” - Dr. Seuss
A total of 31 pupils ranging from 1st to 6th class took park in this years MS Readathon. The Readathon is an annual fundraising event run by Multiple Sclerosis Ireland to raise funds to continue providing services for people with MS and their families in communities across Ireland. MS Readathon has been running for over 20 years and this is the schools 4th year taking part. It was a virtual "READING FEST" during October and November when the children read all sorts of books by authors including Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Morpurgo and others too numerous to mention. The readers were sponsored by their relatives and friends to read at least 5 books and most read a lot more than that! The readathon finished in November and a grand total of 418euro has been sent to MS Ireland. Well done to everybody.
